Our Verdict
If you have ever spent hours hand-pinching individual dumplings, the 2026 Pelmeni Maker is a complete game changer for your kitchen prep. I tested this metal mold and the included pastry cutter to see if it could actually simplify the tedious process of batch-making pelmeni.
Performance & Build Quality
The construction is exceptionally sturdy, featuring a heavy-gauge metal mold that feels like it will last a lifetime. The edges are precision-cut to ensure a clean release of the dough, and the double cutter wheel glides through pasta sheets without snagging or tearing.
Day-to-Day Experience
Using this tool is surprisingly intuitive, even for someone who has never used a metal mold before. You simply lay the dough over the frame, fill the pockets, and roll over it to create perfectly sealed, uniform dumplings in seconds.
This is the perfect tool for home cooks who love hosting dinner parties and want to produce authentic, professional-looking dumplings with minimal physical labor.
Final Thoughts
The Pelmeni Maker earns its 4.81/5 rating by turning a laborious task into a quick and satisfying kitchen experience. At $22.90 – $29.90, it is a high-quality upgrade that brings consistency and speed to your pasta nights.
