Our Verdict
If your kitchen cabinets have started slamming or failing to stay open, these Cabinet Door Gas Spring Hinges are a simple fix that makes a world of difference. I tested these on a set of heavy overhead cupboard doors to see if the hydraulic mechanism could truly handle the weight and provide that promised smooth operation.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality is impressive, featuring a robust hydraulic piston designed to handle loads between 2KG and 20KG. The materials feel solid, suggesting a long service life that should effectively reduce wear and tear on your cabinet frames over time.
Day-to-Day Experience
Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with basic furniture hardware, and the tension adjustment is intuitive. Once installed, the soft-close action is whisper-quiet and prevents the doors from slamming, which completely changes the feel of the kitchen.
These hinges are perfect for DIYers and homeowners looking to add a touch of modern convenience and quiet operation to their existing kitchen or storage cabinets.
